Where is Carflix Drive In located?
Carflix is a National Touring Event. This means you will find events popping up at premier locations across each state.
When will Carflix visit my area?
Check back regularly and follow our socials to keep up to date with the latest tour schedules. Alternatively, submit your postcode via our Area Request
tool for early access.
How do current covid restrictions impact the experience?
Movie goers must arrive together in the same vehicle at the same time and adhere to state specific social distancing requirements when they leave their vehicles. More information will be made available on each event listing.
What type of movies does Carflix screen?
Enjoy a variety of new release blockbusters, nostalgic favourites, Australian films and documentaries.
May we bring our own snacks?
Absolutely, if you forget anything or feel like having dinner we have a variety of options to enjoy.
Are pets allowed?
This is venue dependent and can be verified on individual event listings. Please use a leash outside of your vehicle and be mindful of others.
Can I buy a ticket on the night?
Subject to availability. Check event listing for up to date information.
Are motorcycles permitted?
Absolutely, remember your own digital FM tuner and be sure to purchase a reduced price ticket.

Can I buy tickets for my friends in another vehicle?
Absolutely. When purchasing multiple tickets you may add extra vehicle attendee information and choose whether to receive all tickets or have them sent to your mates.
Do we have to wear shoes?
Outside of your vehicle please wear appropriate footwear for the environment.
What time does food stop being served?
Generally at the conclusion of the night. Some vendors may close in the final half hour of the last screening.
Can I bring a camera and record the screen?
Absolutely not, act's of piracy are not permitted and are against our organisations core values.
How do we hear the movie?
Tune in via your vehicles FM radio but please ensure all exterior lights are kept switched off.
May we bring a chair or beanbag and sit outside our vehicle?
Yes but they are only permitted to be used directly in front of your vehicle - which ever end is facing the screen.
I run a business, can I advertise on the big screen?
Absolutely, a variety of advertising solutions exist. Please contact us for a copy of our opportunity inventory.
Can we overload our car?
We are only allowed to permit entrance to vehicles carrying the correct amount of licenced passengers.
How early should we arrive?
Depends if you have a preferred parking spot. First in best dressed!
Can I hold an adjacent parking spot for a friend?
Parking spots may be held until 15 minutes before the feature begins.
It's raining are the movies cancelled?
Nope, our equipment is built to withstand adverse weather so you may enjoy the cinema rain, hail or shine.
Can I do max burnouts in my car?
Only if being ejected without refund is your intention. Please respect the venue facilitating your night out.
